A landscape showing Rama Chapel. Wright was born in London and was evacuated as a refugee of the Blitz to Carmarthen in 1939, where he was raised and educated. He attended Carmarthen Art College and later became principal of Newport and Gwent College of Art and Design. He was a founder member of the 56 Group and has exhibited widely in Wales, London, America and Canada.
