Richard Westall
1765–1836
(b Reepham, Norfolk, 2 Jan. 1765; d London, 4 Dec. 1836). English painter and illustrator. He painted a few pictures for Boydell's Shakespeare Gallery, but he made his name chiefly in book illustration, in which field he was one of the most prolific artists of the day.
