An antique marble head of a young boy or faun, broken from the original body halfway down the neck. The head has been attached to a nineteenth-century marble reconstruction of the neck and shoulders ad mounted on a nineteenth-century turned marble socle. The young faun has curly hair and casts his gaze downwards to his right. The original nose, chin and lips were broken off and replaced with nineteenth-century parts.
