A carved wooden figure of semi-naked female figure, on her haunches, a bowl resting on her knee, made by the Yoruba people of Nigeria. The left nipple has broken off her bare breast and she is wearing a striped, cone-shaped hat. There is painted decoration to the figure's surface: yellow to skin, white to bowl and red and white to hat. One of four wooden figures from West Africa.
