Kate Cowcher is Lecturer in Art History at the University of St Andrews, where she teaches on modernism in Africa, histories of African art in European museums and Scotland's relationship with the African continent. She is currently working on her first book, Beyond the Feudal Fog: Art and Revolution in Ethiopia.
