Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust comprises four hospitals – the John Radcliffe and Churchill hospitals and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury. The Trust's diverse collection has been accumulated through commissions, loans and donations, and ranges from historical portraits of those involved in establishing the three hospitals to contemporary glasswork, tiled artwork and bespoke furniture developed as part of new building projects. Over the past decade the Trust has started to commission artwork integrated into new building projects, including an extensive arts programme for the Churchill Hospital's Cancer Centre and an enormous mural, 'Kids', by Michael Craig-Martin for the Children's Hospital and West Wing at the John Radcliffe. Current commissions include new artwork by Nicky Hirst, Jacqui Poncelet, Jan von Holleben, Lisa Milroy, Kate Blee, Sasha Ward and Laura McCafferty.
