Local history museum, with attractive and varied displays ranging from the fifth century to the present day, including the Victorian era, First and Second World Wars and aspects of ordinary working life.
Included in the collection are three small oil paintings, namely 'A Victorian Lady', artist unknown, 'Old Bodmin Prison' by A. R. High and 'Truro River and Cathedral' by P. N. Carroll. It is advisable to make an appointment to see these paintings as they are in store at the moment.
Opening times: Easter to the end of September, Monday–Friday, 10.30am– 4.30pm; Saturday, 10.30am–2.30pm; October, Monday–Saturday, 10.30am-2.30pm.
Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.
