The D-Day Museum tells the story of the D-Day landings and Normandy Campaign. It has the stunning Overlord Embroidery, over two hundred feet of intricate embroidery and applique commemorating the heroic events of 1944. There are set piece displays such as an ARP Warden's sitting room, a crashed Horsa glider and an air raid shelter as well as formal cased displays of original material and a display of wartime vehicles.
