The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists holds unrivalled heritage collections relating to women’s health, covering archive, museum and library material, and including the collections of the Royal College of Midwives. The art collection includes a significant collection of paintings portraying the most eminent figures in obstetric and gynaecological history in the UK from the early twentieth century. As well as portraits of Presidents of the College, there are also two significant pieces of work by the artist Terence Cuneo. Please note that the collection is currently closed to visitors. The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists has relocated to a new address near London Bridge, and will re-open to the public in late spring 2020.
