About the venue

The World of Glass houses the St Helens Borough Council Collection. The collection includes approximately 77 oil paintings dating from 1828 to 1986. Many of the works in the collection have been donated by local residents.

The World of Glass is a visitor attraction open to the general public. The attraction incorporates museum galleries, an archaeological site, glass blowing demonstrations, a café and shop.
