West Park Museum is a single cell, red brick and terracotta building set in the second earliest municipal park in Britain. The Museum was presented to the town of Macclesfield in 1898 by Marianne Brocklehurst and her brother, Peter Pownall Brocklehurst. It houses collections of local art, Charles Tunnicliffe paintings, and Egyptian artefacts.

West Park Museum is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, 1.30pm–4.30pm (1pm–4pm, from November to Easter). Admission is free. Not all the paintings are currently on display, so please telephone before visiting to avoid disappointment.
