The war council of statesmen and priests are gathered around a large table, spread with books and papers. At one end in an ornate carved chair sits the head of council in pale robes and a hat. The council members wear various robes and skull caps, and some turn to face a standing soldier or messenger on the right, wearing an armour breastplate and carrying a rolled up scroll in his hand. A man in a red robe stands behind him to the right of the picture.
