One of a series of 16 abstract or semi-abstract paintings executed after Cursiter had retired from painting. They consist of sharp, pointed, floating, overlapping transparent or semi-transparent shapes or flat blocks of colour which explore spacial awareness within the painted surface. Bold, energetic and visually engaging, these paintings are an intriguing departure from the landscapes and portraits for which he is more well known.
