World War I - a Felixstowe flying boat in the waters of the North Sea near Harwich, Essex. These aircraft were operated from the Royal Naval Air Station at Felixstowe. They were large, robust and had long endurance, making them ideal for their specified role of anti-submarine patrols around the British coast.
