This is a view across the River Dart towards Dartmouth, from the higher ferry landing stage. It was purchased together with the painting 'Dockyard' (also in the Torre Abbey collection) from Anthony Green’s retrospective exhibition held in the Spanish Barn at Torre Abbey in November 2003.

One of south Devon’s most highly regarded painters, Anthony exhibited in Dublin, London and Southampton and was a co-founder of C-Visual Arts and the Torbay Visual Arts Festival. He was seriously ill at the time of his retrospective and died a few days after the exhibition closed.
