A stone drinking fountain built as a memorial of an incident when Miss Baker-Cresswell was driving a pony and trap up to the level crossing when a steam train, which should have slowed down because of the dip in the railway line at Chathill, frightened the horse and she was thrown from the trap and escaped serious injury. Being of a religious disposition she put this down to the good Lord.
