The figure is vested in a chasuble, amice and alb, with the stole and dalmatic visible at the sides. The garments are richly embroidered, with apparels and orphreys of fleuron decoration, interspaced with rows of raised dots. This piece is thought to represented Saint Thomas Becket, to whom the abbey is dedicated.
