The edges and back surface of the stone are roughly finished, with traces of mortar still adhering. A splayed rebated feature is cut in the back surface, at one side, the broader end of which terminates in a deep slot, and was probably originally associated with iron-work used to fix the panel against adjacent stonework. The upper and lower edges of the panel are broken, and the outer face is hollowed and is carved with the upper half of a woman holding what appears to be a shield in her hands. The shield has the remains of a florette carved in one corner. The figure of the woman wears a V-necked robe, and has long hair, parted in the middle. This work is from the Medieval period.
