A human form modelled after Inuit inuksuit figures, used as waymarkers and navigation aids in the Arctic. This piece is made of local augen gneiss. The Shetland island of Yell was once part of North America when much of its geology was formed 900 million years ago. The sculpture forms part of Shetland Geopark.
