This is a later work by the artist. It illustrates something which would be a familiar sight during that period of history.

In addition, the events of the naval battles between the empires of Britain and France known as the ‘Napoleonic Wars’ (1803–1815), and between Britain and the United States, ‘The War of 1812’ (1812–1815), were still in the public and artistic mind.
