Each face of this cenotaph has a low-relief cross carved into it, with a bronze relief wreath garlanding them. Plaques carrying the names of the dead are attached below. Each corner is stepped and the entablature (ornamental horizontal beam) supports two graduated steps in the form of truncated pyramids.
