A stone Hindu sculpture of Nandi (the Hindu deity Lord Shiva's mount and which acts as his and Parvati's gatekeeper), painted black and engraved with patterns. The bull is seated with its right front leg out in front of its body and its left front leg tucked back underneath. The right horn has been broken of, it has been dressed with a decorative saddle style cloth with a protruding horn and appears to be wearing bridle style strapping.
