Depicting the story of Tam O'Shanter by Robert Burns. Tam on his horse 'Maggie' is being chased by Nannie the witch. Nannie is reaching out for the horse's tail as they get to the bridge over the river Doon. Nannie wears a 'cutty sark' and the poem is the inspiration for the ship's name.
