Orgiastic feast scene set in ancient Rome depicting barbarian invaders at a Roman villa, drunk with wine served by their Roman captives. Drunken figures lie about a hillside garden with a small circular pond in the foreground, waited on by servant women and children carrying more wine. A small pillared temple in the background looks out over the sea beyond, visible to the left. The whole scene is framed by two statues, the bust of a man to the left, and a full female figure to the right.
