Eliza Goodpasture is a writer and art historian based in York. She is working on a PhD examining the impact of friendship between women artists working in England around the turn of the twentieth century. She has held positions in museums in the US (Frick Collection, Guggenheim Museum, Bowdoin College Museum of Art) and the UK (York Museums Trust). She is currently the editor-in-chief of Aspectus: A Journal of Visual Culture, writes a regular newsletter about art and culture called Runaway, and has written for various publications on art, travel, pop culture, and books.
