Fiona Campbell creates sculptural installations using mainly recycled and found materials. At the root of her work is the notion of interconnectedness throughout nature, with a focus on environmental concerns about human exploitation of nature.
Fiona has several strands to her practice. She creates artwork for exhibitions, works to commission, teaches children and adults, and curates art projects in interesting spaces such as step in stone (artscapes in quarries) and B-Wing in Shepton Mallet Prison, involving site-responsive artworks and community engagement.
Fiona has an MFA, is a member of Royal Society of Sculptors and recently won the Red Line Art Works Award for her series of environmental installations.
