Staffordshire University's Faculty of Sciences holds a small collection of paintings depicting aspects of scientific discovery and exploration. The paintings were commissioned in 1999 to enhance the Mellor Building where the science departments are housed. The Faculty of Sciences and their paintings will be moving to a brand new building in Stoke-on-Trent in 2012.
