A portrait of the artist's father at a table. Swansea (Llangyfelach) artist Evan Walters was one of the most significant Welsh artists of the twentieth century. Very much an artist of his time and place, he is renowned for representing with stark reality the industrial community in which he was raised. Much of his work is portraiture or genre painting.
