One of the ‘Stone Men of Saline’ sculptures. A sandstone statue of a standing figure (without a hat), with missing arms. The work depicts Bauldy – a character in Allan Ramsay's poem ‘The Gentle Shepherd’. Bauldy partners ‘Simon’, one of the other characters in the poem.
