A summer or spring scene of Broomfield House behind the lake, Broomfield Park, Palmers Green. The trees blossom and ducks swim on the lake depicting the life and vitality of the park. The Grade II* listed Broomfield House, part of which dates back to the sixteenth century, is given a prominent position, emphasising the grandeur of the building. The park itself is also Grade II listed and is thought to be one of only three Baroque water-gardens in the UK (the others are Chatsworth and Powys Castle).
