A marble relief portrait of Lady Clementina Augusta Wellington Villiers (1824–1858), in profile, facing left. It is a marble roundel set within a rectangular wooden frame, with foliate relief decoration in spandrels, the ground painted green. The work was probably commissioned by Lady Sarah Sophia Child Villiers, Countess of Jersey (1785–1867). It was first recorded in the 1860 inventory of 38 Berkeley Square, London, in the Dining Room, 'A medallion head of Lady Clementina Villers in marble'. It was also recorded in the 1871 inventory of Osterley Park, in the Dining Room, 'Marble bust of "Lady Clementina Villiers" by J. G. Lough'. It was recorded in the 1915 inventory of Osterley Park in the Gallery, '1 medallion portrait of Lady Clementina Villiers in white marble'.
