A portrait of a lady in a black evening dress with low decolletage and large pink puff sleeves. Originally the sitter was assumed to be the Countess of Ellesmere, then later thought to be Lady Louisa Egerton, wife of Admiral Francis Egerton. Further investigation revealed the sitter to be Mrs Margarett Walton, in an 1895 portrait by Fanny Way.
