Charles Neil Knight lived at Marlborough Buildings, Bath, for over 25 years. From here he could see Bath’s famous Royal Crescent, and he painted it many times. Knight was actively involved in Bath’s art scene. He was Secretary of the Bath Society of Artists during the 1930s, and advised the Victoria Art Gallery on purchases. He exhibited works of art in London too, at the Royal Academy of Art and Royal Institution.
