National Trust, Berrington Hall
Berrington Hall, beautifully situated above a wide valley with sweeping views across the Brecon Beacons, was built between 1778–1783 for Thomas Harley (whose fortune derived from clothing the British Army) by Henry Holland and set in a parkland designed by Capability Brown.
