Signed and dated bottom right: W McCance '25 Label 1972 – Girvan catalogue No. 35 JANE’S PICTURE WHEN MAC DIES WMCC 25/9/55 [pencil across board. The date is crossed through – probably a later amendment. It was in August 1955 that WMcC’s wife Agnes left the marital home in Hambledon for Glasgow, accompanied by brothers Wallace and John.
